I've got some 1 GB and 2 GB 204 pin memory, PC3-8500S, a pair of each, but you said you needed 240pin and they are the long ones for desktop computers, not the sodimms
Is this PC a laptop or a desktop?
I've also got one 4 GB PC3-12800S memory - if anybody needs any of these let me know.

Posted today James, apologies, forgot i was in London yesterday. But as has been said, these are 204-pin so won't be suitable if you require 240-pin.
In my experience slower speed RAM is far more likely to cause issues than installing RAM c locked at higher speeds than required, YMMV.

No, keep or bin James, sorry, I should have spotted that earlier, all Mac RAM is 204 other than old Mac Pro stuff
