I have decided I might update my mac mini with an M1 version. I'm therefore offering it for sale. If there is no interest, I'll keep it because it works just fine.
It is:
Late 2014
2.6 GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
1 TB HDD (not fusion or SSD)

It would be reset to "blank" Big Sur. If you want an earlier OS, that would be for you to install. Any questions?
People who have had my kit in the past can verify it is all good, but of course, does not come with a warranty other than it left here in good order will work when unpacked.
I did a quick search for the same item. Sellers through Amazon price at (rounded up) £385 and £420. FleaBay has some cheaper but I'm suggesting a start point of £370 including insured postage. If you have a main Mac, you could connect it a TV to stream or use it headless as a server (that is what I do).

I did some more checking. The trade in value is not as much as I was led to believe from those sites (I checked with Apple and Music Magpie).
I'll part with it for a more than reasonable £200 inc delivery. I didn't mean to be so ambitions (aka greedy) but there it is.
I'll leave it posted here until the 25th then if no interest, I'll just give up on the idea and keep it doing what it does well enough. As I said, more of a whim upgrade than out of need.

I thought that was fair for any buyer and myself. More than trade in and less than "going rate". You know how to get me if temptation strikes harder than willpower. Unfortunately I don't think I have the original packing.

I think I've dropped as low as I could go, but no harm trying. Good negotiating tactics However, I'd need it towards the replacement, even though it is £90 cheaper from Amazon than Apple. I just checked £ and availability.
