I have just installed a new 1TB external hard drive. So the 250GB and 160GB that I have are now redundant. Anyone interested get in touch and I'll provide more details. 160GB is freecom, USB 1.0 250GB is freecom, USB 2.0, able to be a network drive but I couldn't configure it as such, so I have just been using it as a regular usb drive. Have all the manuals and boxes in the loft. @pedrostephano

I am selling my Turbo264 hardware video encoder stick (inc software).
It cost me £70 new, I am asking £30+p&p.
Encoding videos to h.264 format (for AppleTV and the iPhone/iPod) was 3-4 times faster than using my MacBook Pro's processor, and 12-15 times faster than my old iMac G5's processor...
It's a *very* useful gadget if you save or convert videos to h.264 format from iMovie, Quicktime, Final Cut or just have downloads you want to convert. It's way faster and stops your computers fans from going mad while converting videos.

Is there anything wrong with it HardRock? Why you selling?
Is it basically like using Toast to convert but much faster? How long would a 400MB 45 min TV show take?

Actual speed depends on what the source format is I think as well as which Mac you have. A 45 minute file on my MB Pro typically converts in 20 minutes or so, or half that if I am outputting to iPod res.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, I bought the HD version for £139 some time ago as I am now creating HD footage. (the one I am selling cannot create HD files, the max res it can output is DVD quality, it can read in HD files, but the output file it creates is limited to DVD res so ok for AppleTV, the internet, iPod, iPhone etc).

I'm interested indeed. I've a lot of DVDs (TV Shows) I'd like to convert to Apple TV to save on space etc but at the mo toast takes ages to convert the episodes!

You would use MacTheRipper to rip the DVD to the hard disk, then drag the file file to the included app and it would convert it. If the DVD is one you have burnt yourself (ie non commercial) you don't even need the MacTheRipper step as turbo.264 will rip straight off the DVD.

The Turbo 264 is great if you plan to do a lot of video encoding. I use it with EyeTV (which it is integrated with automatically). It can export the TV recording at full resolution (1024x576 usually), using the AppleTV setting.

I'm selling my Nikon D300, body only, as I will be moving to full frame on Christmas Day I've had it around 2 years and it's served me well. Comes with original box, manual, cables, battery and charger, trial Nikon NX software, strap, eyepiece cover. The LCD cover plate has a scratch bottom left, it's not a crack. For full camera specs see http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/n ... n_d300.asp" Also included is a non Nikon Battery grip. This has a focusing button and a joystick for changing the AF point and works very well. Any questions please ask. Looking for £620.00 inclusive of next day delivery.
