Listening and watching, this one. Peter Gabriel - Growing Up Live. I watch it every now and again. It will fill the evening nicely.

A 10 hour long audio file of the "submerged uboat noise" from the PC Game 'Silent Hunter 3'. I have tinnitus and it helps distract from the whistling. When that's not on - usually 'liquid drum & bass' - LTJ Bukem in particular, but others too.

Yesterday I signed up for Spotify on the Premium trial. I thought I'd give it a go. It won a streaming service group test in the current MacFormat mag. mostly on it's friendly usable interface with great recommendations and discovery. OK, in Sonos it works exactly the same as Apple Music and Amazon's Prime bundled effort. As far as recommendations go, what a load of cack. It must think I'm a 20-something Radio 1 listener. At least in Apple you can list groups/artists you like and those best avoided. Spotify's search screen on iOS doesn't show a lot of results. Amazon's is better but I find Apple's best. I think I'll be cancelling. It just goes to show how wrong (well, different aesthetic and practical criteria being applied) reviews and group tests can be when written by an idiot (no names but I'm rapidly glancing in Gary Marshall's direction).
And yet I know there are people who disagree with me. It is good there are different things for us to pick from.
To be on topic, Trader Horne - Morning Way.

Whenever I recorded the Muse Live at Rome Olympic Stadium from Sky Arts HD, my TiVo or whatever broke and had to be replaced. Short version - I got round to buying the Blu ray so now I don't have to worry or skip adverts.
Arrived by postie. Playing now. Looks spiffing upscaled to 4K.

I just sub'd back to Apple Music for a year at the discounted lump sum price. £8.25pm feels better.
I am listening to their Essential Airbourne playlist.

Early morning Muse. I recorded the Reading concert on BBC4 last night and now is a good a time as any to catch up.

Something relatively new to me. Chickenfoot. I've heard snippets on Planet Rock so I'm giving the eponymous album a go.
I should expand my listening more. I have some more new-to-me things tucked aside for another time. I picked them up as being like an artist I have in Apple Music. I'll be the judge of how alike they are. Any rock type suggestions?
