Through , I just purchased a lifetime subscription to for $30. The offer is still running, and runs from time-to-time. All upgrades are included; that is a one-time cost.
One can synch via the cloud, or locally over one's network (which means that nothing leaves one's computer). This can be changed at will: as many times as one wants.
Sounded good to me. Maybe it will to you.

Has anyone joined me with using Sticky Password? The highly-discounted offer from StackSocial appears periodically.
It seems a full-featured, easy-to-use app. I don't know - but cannot imagine - that 1Password offers much more. And $30 for a life-time subscription sure beats 1Password's cost.
Signed, Just Curious

I paid a one-off payment for 1Password. Didn't realise they had gone to a subscription pricing model if you buy from their website. It's £59.99 from the Mac App Store.

And I use OneSafe on my iphone, iPad and MacBook without any problems. Syncs across all using Dropbox or iCloud.

I have used 1Password for several years now and except for a few initial sync problems its been really useful. Don't think I would use it as a subscription product though as there are other options.

There are a few appropriate threads (I searched) but I picked this one to update on LastPass.
but there are plenty to choose from.
Quote: Top password manager tool LastPass is making some major changes to its free version that could divide customers. Until now users of LastPass Free could access the identity management tool across mobile and desktop devices, but going forward, they will now have to choose between the two.
“We’re making changes to how Free users access LastPass across device types,” Dan DeMichele, Vice President of Product Management at LastPass, said. “LastPass offers access across two device types – computers (including all browsers running on desktops and laptops) or mobile devices (including mobile phones, smartwatches, and tablets). Starting March 16, 2021, LastPass Free will only include access on unlimited devices of one type.”

That's a right royal stitch-up. Ok, there may be a minority of users who only have a mobile device, but how many only have a computer?

My son who is 25 has never owned a desktop or laptop computer, only iPhone and iPad. A lot of his friends are the same. My mother who is 79 now owns only iPhone and iPad, she ditched her laptop a few years ago.
There are a huge amount of people out there who do not own a traditional computer, only mobile devices.
