What about import tax on arrival in the UK?
I bought a rather excellent ScotteVest jacket online and had to pay another 25% duty for it to pass through UK customs!

If you buy an iPhone outside of your country of residence, the warranty is invalid.

It seems the Ten is a delicate flower.

< rant> Can’t be much worse than the iPhone 4 & 4S. Glass back on those too. Same moaners publishing their click bait.
Look after your gear and you won’t break it.
Stuff breaks when you drop it, what’s new?

I had a 4 for three years and it was fine. I had a 6 and they were supposed to be easily bent. My 8 Plus is glass and straight in a sleeve. I'm not worried. I agree - look after it. I'm surprised that people get away with putting smartphones in jeans arse pockets without damage. Except a colleague at work who used to regularly shoot her Nokia down the pan when she went for a wee

It's not surprising that people drop phones. Have you looked at how people use them, holding them loosely with one hand and using a thumb and not looking where they are going while walking over concrete and crossing roads, ignoring traffic.
So I suppose keeping one in a case is a Jolly Good Thing, some people don't have any kind of case and I just wonder how often they are smashed.

Oh look my brand new car has got damaged after I deliberately drove it into a wall to see if anything happened when I did.

I know. A consumer wouldn't do it though.

Looking forward to iOS 11.2 if the wireless charging rate will increase.
My Qi charger is rated at the required 7.5W. Charging time is not bad now but faster is better in this context.

iOS 11.1.2 out. I mention it here as the listed fixes seem to relate to the Ten.

So I know from Twitter and here that some of you guys and girls have bought the X! Can we have a full and detailed report of your experiences please? I still can't decide between the 8+ and the X. Cost isn't the problem, it's whether the X is working properly and the face recognition thing is really good etc... I would love owners opinions please... Cheers.
