I saw Fleetwood Mac and Chicken Shack (same bill) when they came to my Uni town in the very early 70s. Good noisy blues. Led Zeppelin also came but I couldn't afford the £5 for the ticket. I know it sounds nothing now but then it was half my weekly budget - the rent, a few albums or 50 pints of best bitter.

Bit of a spending spree today. I bought Bonobo - Migration, Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue, Johnny Cash - American IV: The Man Comes Around and The Cinematic Orchestra - Ma Fleur. It should keep me occupied for a few hours

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Probably my favourite of the Floyd's albums.

Courtesy of Apple Music, I tried some Crowded House yesterday and wasn't taken by it. I'm trying things I've heard of but never listened to in any quantity. I started on a Big Country compilation this evening and it got very same-y after the two better known tunes, so that got stopped half way. I'm now on Hunky Dory, being safer ground and I've not heard it for a while.
I'm onto some Keith Christmas next.

The Bad Shepherds.
I was aware of them, but not knowingly heard them. I like them.

Found an old BBC "Sings Dylan" with Joan Baez singing It Ain't Me Babe from 1965 with her own guitar accompaniment. What an incredible voice. Can still send shivers down the spine...
