This morning's updates brought iTunes 12.7.3 which is supposed to add HomePod control. I've been able to go without iTunes lately but I let it update anyway.
Also mac OS Server 5.5 for my mini.

Updated my iPhone 6 to 11.2.5 and some of its speed has returned, so I think they have probably improved their bad battery false positives.

I read that 11.3 was going to give people the option on speed/battery but there is no reason they couldn't have taken the brake off in this, the latest release, but not yet added the user switch to Settings.
