5 million signatures is 4 times more than the majority Leave gained during the Election.

You're not even remotely comparing like-with-like, BD. That 5m "remain" should be, for example, compared with a similar petition on that site for "leave". Good luck with that. As for other comparisons, take your pick here: https://whatukthinks.org/eu/opinion-pol ... l-results/

We've added your signature to the petition:
Revoke Article 50 and remain in the EU.

Thanks Jonah & mooblie, I'm not pretending to understand what is going on over there ,so thanks for the input, over here money is the sole real vote behind the scenes.

BD: I guess we over here don't feel we're getting the full story either. It's an embarrassment being British at the moment.

True. This is quite impressive though - BBC News aerial footage - Brexit: People's Vote march to Parliament Square: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47680979

It's getting better day by day.
If by better we include the phrase, “national humiliation”.
Everybody in Parliament is changing their minds - So, as per my original question:
Because you may be asked it at some point in the near future.
If only to end the horror.
Or has everyone just started soaking up booze and glut watching old episodes of HIGNFY

Anybody else find the song "Send In The Clowns" going around in their head? And one of the last lines: "Don't bother, they're here..."
Interesting - there are still people signing the Abandon Brexit petition...
Edit to qualify - As a kid I always found clowns more scary than funny; still applies!

It is now obvious that Parliament cannot decide what 'Brexit' is.
As I see it, Parliament has definitely ruled out a 'no-deal Brexit', don't want the Withdrawal Agreement negotiated (if that is indeed the right terminology) by Teresa May and now cannot agree on what sort of 'Brexit' they want. As the Withdrawal Agreement is the only one that is available and cannot be renegotiated there is now, in my opinion, only two options.
1. Revoke Article 50 and stay in the EU. 2. Put it to a second referendum with a choice between Revoking Article 50 and the negotiated Withdrawal Agreement.
The second referendum would still honour the first because there is the option to leave the EU, albeit with a terrible Withdrawal Agreement and, if people have changed their minds, the option to stay in the EU on the bespoke terms we have now.
