I turned off Double Pinch in Accessibility before the WatchOS 10.1 update because Double Tap was implemented in 10.1. Similar, but not the same (I am led to believe). Older Watches can do Pinch.

I've been using the double tap/pinch on my series 8 for about 6 months. Still works under Watch OS10.1 I'm glad to say.

TBH I don’t know what the double tap/pinch is and I’ve had a Watch since 2015.
